McDonald’s just released its highest calorie product in Japan: the Mega Potato. The Mega Potato is the brand's famous fries, and contains around 1,150 calories.

The “Mega Potato” 350-gram serving of fries with around 1,150 calories comes in a comically wide cardboard container, a little more than three fourths of a pound of potato.

It’s little cheaper at 490 yen, just under $5 and can tempt people into buy french fries in bulk and in result spread obesity making them fat.

According to celebrity trainer Subodh Gupta, “McDonald's recent product “Mega Potato” will make people fat, spread obesity and may fool kids into making unhealthy choices.”

He added “This product of fries is very unhealthy as it contains massive 1142 calories (almost half of daily calorie requirement) with around 60 grams of fat which is too high.”

Kids may end up making unhealthy food choices and as a result may become obese because of persuasive marketing techniques unless parents taught their kids about healthy eating.
