This playful numbers book uses unusual animals, birds and reptiles for a preschool math experience. The characters flock to their number and then work together launching a number to blastoff. At liftoff, readers count quickly back up again. Domino dots provide easy touch points for counting which adds a kinesthetic aspect to the story. Children may choose to count the animals as well for a review process. Whimsical characters provide a point and touch action for little ones to enjoy while counting their way to new math skills.

Margie Kaufman is a teacher and author. An Academic Language Therapist, she enjoys sharing the skill of reading with students from pre-school to high school.
