LOUISVILLE, KY, September 18, 2023 - Dr. Patrick Hoyle has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Dr. Hoyle is a sustainability science and business management expert and educator with more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurial leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science in occupational training and development and instructional design with a minor in Chinese studies, and completed an Executive Master of Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude in 2010. Dr. Hoyle continued his education earning a Doctor of Philosophy in strategic management in 2019, and is currently a degree candidate in the Graduate Sustainability Program in the Harvard University, Division of Continuing Education. In addition to his formal education, Dr. Hoyle holds numerous professional credentials and continuing education certificates including a professional permaculture design certification and higher education teaching certificate.
Dr. Hoyle began his career at 19 as the founder of a successful business. He would remain the CEO of Epicure Inc. until 2010, when he entered the field of higher education as a lead instructional designer and associate professor for a small university. During his time at the school, he rose to become full professor and served as interim dean of instruction between 2020 and his departure in 2022. Since 2022, he has held his current teaching role at another university where he also serves on the business program council to audit and update Doctor of Business Administration program curricula.
Dr. Hoyle has designed more than 40 asynchronous and remote learning college courses. As a student leader and a unique voice in his industry, he is the current Vice President of the Harvard Extension School Management and Finance Club. Dr. Hoyle credits his success to recognizing and enhancing his natural strengths, and his strong drive for continuous growth, and hopes to continue to improve outcomes by incorporating personal directives and goals into his projects in the coming years.
