BUFFALO, NY, June 15, 2023 - Dominick Buster has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Buster is the co-owner of D.A. Taste, a successful restaurant that began as a food stand in 2020 on South Park Avenue in South Buffalo, New York. Having partnered with his wife, Azrael Laia, the two entrepreneurs have generated a healthy business, serving up to 2,000 tacos per day at their new location, which opened in late December 2021 on Abbott Road.
Offering a unique menu comprising his famous slow-cooked beef tacos, Mr. Buster's small business was initially launched after he and his spouse were laid off from their full-time jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the past three years, the two have become recognized for generating what many agree are the best tacos in town. Garnering an extensive clientele, D.A. Taste continues to thrive.
Mr. Buster previously earned experience as a line cook at Jack Astor's Bar and Grill and as a kitchen manager at Joe's Deli in Buffalo. He holds a high school diploma from Holy Angels Academy.
Recognized for his success in the industry, Mr. Buster was named as the Employer of the Year by Jack Astor's Bar and Grill. He also won Second Place for the Best Tacos in Buffalo and was named as the Number 8 Overall Restaurant in Western New York. Moreover, Mr. Buster was featured in an article in The Buffalo News in June 2021 and on WGRZ-TV in 2022, highlighting his success in the food industry. Attributing his success to never giving up, Mr. Buster looks forward to continued success as a restauranteur.
