KEY LARGO, FL, March 28, 2023 - Nicole Navarro has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Drawing on over 15 years of diverse expertise, Ms. Navarro specializes in animal welfare and rescue. Since 2020, she has found much success as the president of Pawsitive Beginnings Inc. In this capacity, she provides a safe and permanent home to foxes that have been saved from the fur trade and educates the public on fur farming, as well as ways to protest fur farms and the companies that still choose to sell real fur products. In addition to her primary vocation, she serves as the first mate of the Key Largo Marine Tours as of 2018. Prior to this role, Ms. Navarro worked at The Hemingway Home and Museum in Key West, Florida.
Before embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Navarro pursued an education at the Pittsburgh Career Institute, where she earned a technical diploma in web design. As a commitment to her field, she has obtained an animal exhibition permit via the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Navarro has contributed to various nonprofit organizations and has volunteered at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office Animal Farm, a local refuge for abused and confiscated animals.
Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Navarro is most proud of her ability to take care of her rescued foxes and provide them with a happy, restorative and thriving environment that significantly contrasts from the caged and deprived life that they were subjected to for the purpose of fur production. Reflecting on her career, she attributes much of her success to her hopefulness and dedication to what she believes is right. Additionally, Ms. Navarro is gratified to have volunteered at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, where two foxes were surrendered to the certified zoo there, thereby sparking her interest in foxes and her drive to establish a nonprofit rescue organization on their behalf.
