In 2021, he personally donated over $100,000 and joined various campaigns which raise millions of dollars to support childhood cancer. One such campaign was a partnership between Applebee's and Alex's lemonade campaign; it utilized Mr. Ehlers' and other influencers' videos to raise funds.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Ehlers worked as a registered nurse for 10 years and then was the founder and president of Chad Change Inc. to increase support funding for childhood cancer research. Prior to embarking on his professional journey, he earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Cleveland State Community College in 2010 later, advancing his degrees toward exercise science and kinesiology.
Within the coming years, Mr. Ehlers intends to continue his charitable work through social media, having been inspired by his daughter's resilience and affinity for social media. By connecting with others virtually and channeling his positivity through social media, viewers came to recognize him and further spurred him to spread that messaging on a larger scale, using his experiences to help others as much as possible. His next event is in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 18, 2023 in honor of a little girl named Jocelyn, who passed away. The goal is to build a memorial in her name and honor her legacy, as well as helping her family build her legacy.
