ATLANTA, GA, May 13, 2022 - Wellstar Health System has purchased 7.12 acres in Cobb County, GA, for $5.4 million in a transaction brokered by the Ackerman/Pioneer Land Advisory Group. The property is located on Winchester Parkway adjacent to Wellstar Vinings Health Park at 4441 Atlanta Road SE.
The Ackerman/Pioneer Land Advisory Group's John Speros, JT Speros and Kyle Gable represented the seller, Winchester Partners LP.
Wellstar purchased three parcels: 4.29 acres at 1250 Winchester Pkwy, 1.37 acres at 1190 Winchester Pkwy and 1.379 acres that is used as Winchester Parkway.
"Wellstar's current footprint is limited to the property bounded by I-285, Atlanta Road and Cumberland Parkway," said John Speros, Senior Vice President, Ackerman & Co. "They currently control approximately 24 acres of land of which approximately 10 acres of it is developed. The purchase of an additional 7.19 acres provides tremendous flexibility for future expansion in a growing market."
