HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -SanMelix Laboratories, Inc. was named winner of a Stevie® Award in Health & Pharmaceuticals - Product, in The 19th Annual American Business Awards® for its line of BEECure™ products.
BEECure utilizes bioactive medicinal properties of buckwheat honey for treatment of advanced and minor wound care for trauma victims, burns, diabetes and cancer patients undergoing radiation and laser therapy.
More than 250 professionals worldwide participated in the judging to select this year’s Stevie Award winners from more than 3,800 nominations. Judges’ comments include: “Great innovation in wound care,” and “A novel approach to the dressing of acute and chronic wounds, SanMelix brings to the world a solution that considers the adverse impact of pharmaceutical treatments while applying an understanding of natural healing methods. Founded by Harvard-trained surgeon Dr. Kenneth A. BEECure M and BEECure BH, advanced wound care dressings, are presently undergoing FDA regulatory submission.
