WARWICK, R.I. - Jan. 12, 2021 - CME Corp., the largest equipment-only distributor of healthcare products in the United States, has been added as a provider by MAGNET GROUP, a cooperative buying group with 9,000 members in 20 states plus the District of Columbia.
The three-year contract will extend through December of 2023, bringing cost savings and efficiencies to MAGNET GROUP members, which represent not only healthcare organizations but also non-healthcare entities such as municipalities and universities. CME will offer access to 2 million products from more than 2,000 manufacturers distributed by CME nationwide. In addition, CME's direct-to-site "White Glove Services" and technical services will be available to MAGNET GROUP members.
Besides providing extensive medical equipment options, CME is known for its special "White Glove Services" that bring the products direct-to-site and include receiving, inspecting, warehousing, assembling, and installing the equipment. CME also can provide biomedical services, asset tagging, and repairs.
