orientation-based, socio-economic and political diversity. "This multi-year program will be open to every Deal student in grades 6-8, and their families over the course of their tenure at Alice Deal Middle School with the backing of the ADCA. " Nelson Jacobsen, Co President ADCA.

The program draws upon past anti racism programming, including the Talking Across Lines series facilitated by Deal's principal Ms. Dierdre Neal, and related efforts of other schools and districts in the DMV-area.

The Alice Deal Anti Bias & Racism program is initially funded by the Alice Deal Community Association and coordinated by Kathryn Breisch. A voluntary committee of parents, teachers and administrators will provide guidance, support, network-connections, resources and work as needed. To learn more visit https://AliceDealMiddleSchool.org
