SAN CARLOS, Calif. - Nov. 21, 2020 - Yap Lab, the company behind Outlinx QR Smart Stickers, has been given a special mention in TIME's Best Inventions Of 2020 list. One of 20 companies to receive this distinction, Outlinx has been recognized as an innovation that's changing how we live.

I always intended for Outlinx to be a simple tool that everybody could find useful," said Derek Yap, the founder and creator of Outlinx. "With so many people sheltering in place I've seen an uptick in sales in 2020. It's clear people are spending more time shopping online these days, and I think a lot of the same people want to organize the spaces around them."
To collect its 2020 Best Inventions List, TIME solicited nominations through an online application process and editorial input. Each contender was evaluated based on a number of key factors including originality, creativity, influence, ambition, and effectiveness.
