Secure Academic Search Engine Knobull Doesn't Track Students

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Nov. 17, 2020 - Lynn Bentley, President, Knobull Inc. announced, "Do you know that there is a privacy-focused academic search engine that exists for all those student users who are very much concerned about sharing their information online? Of course, a majority of you probably would know this because since August 2020 we have added thousands of followers and there is a chance that one follower might have been you."

Google Scholar is currently regarded as the most popular academic search engine but in more recent times Knobull has been making a splash for attracting more users by selling the much-needed privacy factor to them.

With that, the Knobull search service Refseek has also enjoyed many app/extension installations and much to everyone's surprise they now have thousands of users - along with the potential to continue to grow at the same pace.

But with all the success, Knobull is projected to control over 4 percent of all student search volume conducted in the United States and the success has come because of Google facing privacy scandals this year.

If you haven't heard about Knobull, you can explore the academic search engine that is primarily based on the idea of DuckDuckGo, sites that are dedicated to the development of community like Linkedin and the icing on the cake is the company's student support systems that maximizes academic success. This includes a secure messageboard, links to a comprehensive grouping of academic sources and a student news page with article selected by students for students!

Bentley concluded, "Knobull doesn't keep an eye on what student users are searching for and because of that, we are not up-to-date with every passing minute like Google Scholar or even Microsoft Academic. However, this is significantly less critical for an academic search engine when protecting personal data is a top priority.

The option of choosing whats best for you in the end then depends on you. If you don't really care about a search engine tracking your history, then Google is a champion in web standards. But if you are more careful about your privacy, then you should visit Knobull.com academic search!"
