Next in JCP's holiday selection comes The Adventures of Little Dooey: Santa's Helper by Kim Rohrer. Rohrer is a graduate of The Institute of Children's Literature and her The Adventures of Little Dooey series follows an adventurous monkey by the name of Little Dooey. In Santa's Helper Dooey makes his way to the North Pole to lend a hand for the Christmas season!
Third in the JCP children's gift list is The Everlasting Snowman by Hunter Darden. Darden is an award winning author for multiple children's books, newspaper columns, and a novel. The Everlasting Snowman aims to teach children about life and loss.
Also included is Cocoa the Basset Hound, by teacher turned author and publisher, Victoria Fletcher. Cocoa the Basset Hound is a delightful and fun story of a little girl and her beloved pup, brought to life by charming illustrations.
Finally, JCP has selected Butterscotch and Chocolate Fudge by Claudia Ware. Ware is the former president of the Appalachian Authors Guild and is retired from teaching college psychology. Butterscotch and Fudge follows two sassy cats with their very different personalities.
