NEW YORK - Sept. 7, 2020 - Actor Gary LeRoi Gray ( The Cosby Show, Disney's 'Even Stevens') & P.Diddy protege Dawn Richard( Danity Kane, Dirty Money') have joined the cast of the series Trace.
Trace is a psychological thriller & loosely based on real events surrounding the diverse, multicultural city of San Francisco, CA in the mid-90's. The story follows the pursuit of a serial killer taking aim at the lgbtq community and the terrorizing and fear of many in the city. Filming for Trace is set to begin in mid-january 2021, in and around Los Angeles & San Francisco.
The fledgling streaming service VIM Media (Vim2.tv) is set to air the first six episodes on its platform. "We are beyond excited about adding Trace to our diverse platform & cannot wait for the world to partake in this mind blowing journey with us" says Theo Walter, president of VIM Media.
Trace is co-created, written by Shaun Cairo (Pitchfork, Almost Amazing) & Anthony Bawn(Conframa, Cheetah-in-August). Cairo & Bawn will serve as executive producers as well.
Dawn Richard & Anthony Bawn are represented by Shakir Entertainment Management. Gary LeRoi Gray is repp'd by Arlene Thornton & Assoc.
