New Novel Released by R. Frederick Riddle

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Feb. 17, 2020 - Author R. Frederick Riddle has now published the fifth book of The World That Was series that has been said brings the Bible alive! We are pleased to announce this newest novel which Mr. Riddle has based on the historical events occurring during Jacob's lifetime. As usual the author not only brings the Bible alive but we get a peak into how people lived.

Mr. Riddle blends fiction with fact and challenges his readers to detect which is what. He uses a great deal of research coupled with actual quotations from the King James Version Bible to create a blend that is both entertaining and instructive. When asked how he is able to incorporate known facts into his stories, he says, "I do a lot of research. I've found that if you have a guiding principle the internet is rich with details that fit within the stories I write. In the case of Jacob I found the city of Haran an intriguing study.

"It was an unique city with its Kumbets, which attracted curious eyes. These Kumbets were conical shaped homes/shops that provided cool air and light during the daytime, and allowed indoor heating during the night. That is one of the reasons I chose Haran for the cover."

Mr. Riddle's series The World That Was began with Perished: The World That Was and was followed by World of Noah and the Ark, World of Shem, World of Abraham, and now World of Jacob.
