January 25, 2020 - Within weeks of launching their exciting new Campervan Tours arm, Award winning campervan hire business, Wanderlust Camper Co has just been shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Business and Product Innovation 2020 in the Federation of Small Business’ (FSB) Regional South West Awards.
The FSB’ Awards recognize and celebrate the huge contribution that smaller businesses make to the UK.
The winner of the regional award will be announced on Wednesday 26th February at the South West Final taking place at the Somerset County Cricket Club in Taunton. Winners will go on to take on other regional finalists in the national final.
Borne from a successful, fun campervan hire company, Wanderlust Camper Tours extends the business to attract overseas visitors to the enjoy the charm and appeal of the UK via a camper tour road trip. Following guidance from Visit Britain’s ‘Taking England to the World’ and consultations at the World Trade Market – self-guided, itemized themed tours have been created working closely with several key destination management organizations (DMOs). With the support of several key partners and DMOs as official tour operators such as – including Great West Way, Mayflower 400 and The Wales Way, Wanderlust launched their tours this month to acclaim.
The tours focus on the heart of England and Wales, across the Cotswolds, Bristol & Bath, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, and the length and breadth of Wales including its coastline and mountain range. Featuring a huge variety of leisure and tourism attractions, places of interest and campsites, the tours connects businesses across the regions.
