Smallville, The Walking Dead, Gotham Q&As Head Programming At Wizard World Portland, Fri-Sun

PORTLAND, Ore. - Jan. 20, 2020 - Q&A sessions with the casts of "Smallville" (Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Michael Rosenbaum, Laura Vandervoort and John Glover), "The Walking Dead" tandem of Chandler Riggs and Ross Marquand, "X-Men" voice actors Larry Houston, Cal Dodd, George Buzza, Lenore Zann and Chris Britton, "Gotham" duo of Robin Lord Taylor and Drew Powell, Sci Fi/fantasy women stars Holly Marie Combs ("Charmed") and Emily Swallow ("The Mandalorian"), solo panels with Dylan McDermott ("American Horror Story"), James Marsters ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") and more plus cosplayer and comics creator sessions, adult and kids costume contests, live podcasts and more highlight the programming offerings at the eighth annual Wizard World Portland, Friday through Sunday at the Oregon Convention Center. Most programming is included as part of the standard event admission and is in addition to the live entertainment options (dancing, music, trivia, etc. hosted by Kato Kaelin) all weekend.

Some highlights of the more than 150 hours of panels scheduled to date include:

• Group panels with "Smallville" (Welling, Durance, Rosenbaum, Glover, Vandervoort, Saturday, 1:30 p.m.); "The Walking Dead" (Riggs, Marquand, Friday, 5:30 p.m.), "Gotham" (Taylor, Powell, Saturday, 12:45 p.m.); "Arrowverse" (Teddy Sears and Nick Gano, Sunday 1:30 p.m.); "X-Men" (Saturday, 11:15 a.m.); "Child Stars All Grown Up" (Thomas Dekker, Samm Levine; Saturday, 3:45 p.m.); "Women of Sci-Fi & Fantasy" (Combs, Swallow, Saturday, noon); and Christina Vee and Mela Lee (Saturday, 5:15 p.m.)

• Solo Q&A sessions with McDermott (Saturday, 3 p.m.), Marsters (Saturday, 4:30 p.m.); and Craig Parker ("Spartacus," Saturday, 2:15 p.m.)
• Creator sessions with industry superstars Jonathan Hallett, Joe Wos, Keith Tucker, Tom Cook, Phil Ortiz, Kevin Glover, Brett Weldele, Christopher Priest, James Morris and more
• Fan- and industry-based panels on subjects ranging from Conan the Barbarian, X-Men Movies, Pareidolia, retro gaming, tabletop RPG/D&D, fan fiction, sci fi and teaching, anime, storytelling, platform games, Star Trek, The Flash, Dungeon Mastering and more
• "Smallville Nights," an intimate evening with Welling and Rosenbaum (Friday, 7:15 p.m.; *Extra Ticket Required)
