TORONTO - Jan. 10, 2020 - As Official Florist to Skate Canada, Bloomex is proud to sponsor the 2020 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships (CTNSC) for the fifth consecutive year. This year's event takes place January 13 – 19 at Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

Bloomex will design and provide the bouquets for all medalists in a mix of red and white which are key colours for Skate Canada. The company will also provide floral arrangements for enhancing the venue, hotel bouquets to help welcome guests, as well as gift baskets and gift cards. Bloomex is also donating teddy bears for a Teddy Bear Toss with local school children. Skate Canada will also host the "Bloomex Pass the Bouquet" event during the competition with Bloomex prizes for winners.

The CTNSC is organized by Skate Canada to determine the national champions of Canada. Approximately 250 of the nation's top skaters will compete. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dancing on the senior, junior and novice levels. The results factor in to selection criteria for the Four Continents Championships, World Junior Championships and World Championships.

"Bloomex is delighted to continue as official florist of Skate Canada and the CTNSC," says Sue McDonald, Director of PR and Corporate Partnerships at Bloomex. "These skaters are the best in Canada and we wish them luck at this always-exciting event!"
