Alaska Adult & Teen Challenge Launches Campaign: 100 Founders

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Dec. 31, 2019 - .The Alaska Campus of Pacific Northwest Adult & Teen Challenge launched a new campaign titled 100 Founders this month. The goal of the campaign is to raise $100,000 in 100 days for addiction recovery through the support of 100 local businesses. As Adult & Teen Challenge looks to grow and expand its impact in Alaska, the non-profit will need founding members to come alongside its mission to put hope within reach of every addict. Interested parties can participate in the campaign by donating through the Alaska Campus donations page.

Alaskans know that we have an addiction problem. Everyone in our community is affected in some capacity. Whether it's an uncle who abuses alcohol or a neighbor who is compelled to steal for their next high, we all know someone who is in desperate need of one thing...hope.

Adult & Teen Challenge provides hope and freedom for Alaska addicts as a faith-based addiction recovery program. They currently offer a men's, one-year residential program in the Mat-Su Valley and seven non-residential programs throughout Anchorage, Wasilla, Fairbanks, Haines, and the North Slope, with two mobile crisis centers coming soon to Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley. The non-profit has a 70% success rate for addiction recovery, which is well above national statistics. Their program uses a comprehensive approach to recovery that addresses every aspect of their students' lives to rescue them from addiction.

Funding from the 100 Founders campaign will allow the non-profit to expand its impact in Alaska, growing and strengthening programs like:
Living Free in churches across Alaska
Mobile Crisis Centers throughout the Anchorage area
Women's Facility (goal to open in 2020)
This growth is only made possible by the generous donation of founding members. "These business partnerships empower us to put hope within reach of every addiction in Alaska," says Doug Wever, Alaska Executive Director, Pacific Northwest Adult & Teen Challenge. The non-profit firmly believes that genuine hope and life transformation can only be found in the freedom that comes through faith. They hope to build a new legacy of an addiction-free Alaska. Become a founding member to help build the foundation for addiction recovery in Alaska!
