Royse Contemporary adds James Angel to its Stable of Artists!

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Oct. 22, 2019 - Royse Contemporary welcomes multi-media artist James Angel to its roster of diverse artists. The current roster includes: Cherie Buck-Hutchison, Angel Cabrales, Charmagne Coe, Cam DeCaussin, Gennaro Garcia, Daniel Shepherd, and Marilyn Szabo. Curator/ Owner, Nicole Royse is thrilled to further work with James Angel and he is set to exhibit in the December group exhibition, along with a to be determined solo exhibition in early 2020. Angel's work is currently available and on display at Royse Contemporary.

James Angel is skilled multi-media artist. He is an internationally published studio artist based in Arizona, specializing in the creation of Original Fine Art, Sculpture and Limited Edition Prints for Home Decor, Interior Design, Commercial and Contemporary spaces. Recognized as a major contributor to an emerging downtown arts scene he is one of the founders of the artist collective 3CARPILEUP and the local Chaos Theory annual event. Now in it's 20th year, it has become the most viable approach to engaging local contemporary artists and artwork produced in the region.

Angel studied under and worked with several well known artists and publishers and has exhibited in many galleries and museums. His current work explores the concept of future, the abstract ever-elusive notion just beyond our control. A perpetual state of hope and despair. We are all aware of our own transience and at a certain point it becomes, not about the future anymore, but the quality of life in our time remaining. It's a recognition of the artist's historic role as exemplifier of the future and how it potentially affects the outcome by framing what the future will look like. This work informs his desire to contribute to the visual language that helps shape what the future will look like.

Royse provides her artists with extensive services including art sales, public relations, social media exposure, curation of exhibitions and expansion of their collector base. Their roster highlights work in a variety of mediums and have extensive resumes that include numerous exhibitions at prestigious galleries and museums around the country.
