Young Super Cooks Inspire Students To Create Healthier And Sustainable Dining Choices

NEW YORK - Sept. 26, 2019 - Young Super Cooks (YSCooks) is a platform that employs technology to educate and inspire student to make healthier and sustainable dining choices.

Students can share food pictures, creative food waste reduction tips, ask questions and invite friends to participate while earning points towards multiple winning prizes. For each 3-week cycle of activities, winning prizes are announced for most active participants.

To ensure reaching the target demography, partnership with schools and home-schooling communities is essential as rewards are shipped directly to schools winners are affiliated with.

"I've never seen my kids so engaged! They love being part of the YSCooks," said Norma Brown whose kids are part of the YSCooks Pilot. "Immediately after breakfast, they start looking for nutritious meal for lunch. They really enjoy posting pictures and sharing their thoughts on what others are sharing. I'm sure the prospect of winning a prize helped motivate them as well," she added

"We are focused on innovating a healthier and sustainable future of food, inspiring and educating the next generation is a great place to start," said Julia Olayanju the CIO at GrubEasy Interactive Labs the company behind the YSCooks. "The same way rewarding students for doing well in their school work encourages them to do better, similar outcomes can be expected when they are rewarded for making healthier dining choices," she added.
