Gregory Blair and FANG Win Big at the Lucky Strike Film Festival!

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 22, 2019 - Adam Steigert's horror fun house feature FANG adds to its pedigree with two more awards from the Lucky Strike Film Festival. The film won "Best Feature" and "Best Actor" for Gregory Blair for his role as Harold, the creepy caretaker. Blair made appearances at the festival which was packed with a red carpet full of celebrities as well as the awards ceremony was held at the Celebrity Centre's Garden Pavilion in Hollywood.

FANG tells the story of Chloe Romero (Melodie Roehrig) and Joe Spencer (Theo Kemp), two junkies on the run from a robbery turned murder who journey to hide out at a distant relative's house. But the creepy caretaker (Gregory Blair) who greets them is only the beginning of a new nightmare involving creatures of unknown origin from which they must escape…or die!

"I'm so pleased to have 'Fang' honored by these awards," said Steigert. "I'm quite proud of the film and of Gregory's performance. Gregory and I had never worked together; now I can't imagine working without him. Casting director Kristin Steigert came to me and said I "had to watch" his audition. I never realized just how important the character Harold Pinter was to the story until I watched Gregory's audition. He turned the words on the page into a living, breathing, creepy nightmare—and it was just what the story needed to bring it to the next level."

Blair was equally delighted. "I'm thrilled that audiences are responding so favorably to Harold," Blair said. "Adam created a very mysterious and ambivalent character—sometimes gracious and docile, other times sinister and terrifying—and so it was a lot of fun bringing all his quirky sides to life. Especially since, through it all, there is this smug playfulness—not unlike Freddy Krueger: as if Harold relishes toying with unsuspecting humans." Blair's performance has been hailed in reviews as "Excellent", "Perfect" and "Awesome" (Angels to Zombies, HorrorMovies.CA, and Video Views, respectively).

FANG will continue its festival run through the end of the year. To find a festival near you, follow the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FangTheMovie/
