A blatant misuse of positive thinking…Positive thinking only get you so far…actions of a misguided trader…I won’t reveal any names, but I have a friend who thinks all he needs is a positive attitude to get rich. He took up FOREX trading about six months ago, and has burned through over $20,000 as part of the “learning curve”, as he puts it.

Despite his losses, he thinks that he’s going to get rich this year, even though he is using inferior tools and is trying to teach himself how to trade. I call that a flagrant misuse of positive thinking…Sure, a great attitude never hurts, but no matter how good your attitude is, you cannot get rich using inferior trading tools - at least not in FOREX! But with the right tools and training, you can get rich (even with a bad attitude).
