New Paltz Biking is conveniently located on the beautiful River to Ridge Trail. Park your car and get out on your bike in just minutes. There are two great trails to choose from.

The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail is flat and tree lined with shade. It is the perfect trail for families or folks who don’t want a strenuous ride. There are some amazing bridges with stunning views along the way.

The River to Ridge Trail has breathtaking views of the Shawangunk Ridge. This trail does require some uphill pedaling and it is in full sun…but its worth it! The views or the ridge don’t get any better.

Full day rentals are now available, so you can bring your bike to the Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park or the Walkway over the Hudson. If you plan on bringing our bikes to another location, a full day rental is required.
